QUALIFIED MILITARY PILOTS (QMP)

CPL (H)

CAP 804 Section 'O' states that a QMP who meets the experience requirements is exempt from any course of training for the issue of a CPL(H). However, the skills test for the CPL(H) must still be passed with a CAA examiner.

Candidates will need to download CAA form SRG 2133. Section 7 should be completed by a Commanding Officer or Flight Commander, although the Starspeed Head of Training can complete this if required.

The CPL test is normally taken as part of the Licence Skills Test for a type rating. Please note that no training is given for the CPL test, although familiarisation flights are offered and are highly recommended.
