FTD3 H145 Simulator

Simulator Starspeed Training are delighted to announce the CAA certification of our brand new H145 FTD3 simulator.

As the first of its kind in the UK this is a major step forward for UK rotorcraft training.

 The H145 FTD3 & FNPTIII/MCC simulator is equipped with version 8 Helionix, soon to be version 10 and available to lease for training requirements. 

Some of the many features include; elevated helipads, sloping ground, instrument flight, night flying, deck training, ipad mounts, TCAS II 7.1 with RA, Barco F80 projectors and XPlane 11 visual system.

We also have a fully interactive touchscreen emulator. The Avionics Desktop Trainer is ideal for use during ground school, prior to and post simulator sorties, for standalone refresher training, and cockpit familiarisation. A vital part of Starspeed’s H145 courses, this is also available for lease to any customer requiring cockpit familiarity, starts/stops, emergencies, refresher flights (especially on Helionix) prior to tests and visits to overseas simulators.


The Avionics Desktop Trainer is available for hire with or without an instructor. You will need a relevant IOS certificate to use it, or training can be provided.
