QMP Non Procedural IR(H)

EASA Part FCL allows 'training as required' for the IR(H) for non-procedural rated QMPs; over many years of training the 15 hour course below has been found sufficient for a pilot to reach Instrument Rating Test standard.

This course comprises an extensive ground school package followed by a minimum of 10 hours synthetic flight training in AS355 simulator and a minimum of 5 hours flight training in a multi engine helicopter.

The type of helicopter that the flight training will be conducted on is at the request of the customer.

The course is undertaken over a 2-4 week period, including a separate Type Rating if required.
