Risk Management is an ever evolving science based on the tacit acceptance that no activity, including flying, can be completely risk free, but that risk should be managed so as to remain within acceptable bounds.
As Wilbur Wright remarked to his father, "In flying I have learned that carelessness and overconfidence are usually far more dangerous than deliberately accepted risks".
Starspeed continually assesses the level of risk that safety hazards may have on our activities. We encourage a frank and open reporting system among staff and customers to help us identify actual and potential hazards.
