Simon is an ex Sea King pilot with the Royal Navy. He also had extensive experience flying the Dauphin in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry and onshore with the London Metropolitan Police Service.
He joined Starspeed in 2005 and has been involved with setting up a range of new projects and operations for the company, most notably the company's Safety Management System.
When not engaged flying, Simon lectures in Aviation Safety at the renowned Cranfield University.
