Richard Banham was trained to fly in the British Army and flew a variety of roles wherever the army was to be found around the world. On leaving the regular army in 1995, he still flew for the reserves until 2009.

He became a freelance helicopter pilot and flew extensively around the British Isles and NW Europe mainly in the corporate/ individual client field.

He also carried out a variety of interesting aerial filming covering drama / documentary and live sporting events.

Richard joined Starspeed in 2007 and flies the Dauphin and EC155.
